Barbara Rogers
Qualifying as a counsellor in 1986, I have since additionally trained as a life coach. I am a BACP member and as such adhere to the BACP guidelines and ethical standards.
I have a wide range of experiences working with clients with emotional problems and coming from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I also speak fluent German.
As well as counselling and life coaching I run workshops and have trained groups on a variety of subjects, specialising in bereavement, counselling skills and support for invisible disabilities. I also work for the national organisation CRUSE, supervising bereavement support workers.
Prior to training as a counsellor, I worked as a teacher, lecturer and librarian. I am married with two adult sons and live in Blean, on the outskirts of Canterbury.
